Splicing Double Braid Solid Colors (1/4"- 1-1/2"):

Standard spliced eye size is 12". For diameters 3/4” or larger, suggested eye 18”+
Finished rope length will be measured as overall length including spliced eye(s).
All custom splicing orders come with whipped ends unless otherwise specified.
1/4" double braid splices with NOT be whipped as this is just cosmetic in the industry. If you require whipping for this diameter, please let us know.

Splicing 3-Strand Ropes:

Finished rope length will be measured as overall length including spliced eye(s).
Whipping is not included for 3-Strand ropes unless specified.

A true jack-of-all-trades rope, our Double Braid Solid Colors are perfect for your next adventure

5/8" Nylon Double Braid for boats, crafts, or general use. 5/8" is typically used with boats up to 45 feet Premium double braided nylon that is ultra strong with a higher tensile strength than other dock line materials. By design, it has an ideal combination of decreased stretch and increased shock absorption in addition to being salt water, oil and rot resistant. Soft double braided nylon boat ropes that are easy on your boat finish and comfortable to handle. Nylon ropes will lose about 10% of their strength when wet and will elongate considerably more. They will regain their strength when properly dried.

Combine with 3/4" E-Z-TY Rope Clamps or add Whipping to either ends.

Rope Variability: Diameter in the rope industry will always vary as no two ropes will ever measure the same, especially if they are different braid types, different manufacturers, materials. Diameter is a range in the industry and will always have variations due to Cordage Institute specifications. We encourage purchasing a sample length for testing purposes.

*Please note: Maximum spool size is 300'. The rope(s) pictured are shown in a Double Figure 8 Knot. When purchased, these ropes will arrive in straight pieces unless custom splicing is added during checkout.
