Glider Climbing Rope by MAXIM; It is incredibly durable, making it a great choice for people or groups looking for a dynamic rope that will last a long time and hold up to abuse while sport or trad climbing. Glider Climbing Ropes give the feeling of lighter weight as you pull the rope through protection on sport routes. What really separates the Glider from other dynamic climbing ropes is the supple feel, easy clips, and superior hand feel. Glider excels at day-to-day single pitch cragging, particularly on sharp rock that can chew up ropes.
Endura STD-DRY water-repellent coating applied to the core of all Glider models. Endura 2x-DRY water-repellent coating applied to the cover of the following Glider models:

What is Endura 2x-DRY?
Select models of MAXIM® ropes also pass the second stage of the Endura DRY process and feature 2x-DRY treatment. These ropes are treated a second time by submerging the finished rope in our proprietary dry coating. Afterwards, the finished rope runs through an environmentally controlled process to create a chemical bond between coating and fibers.
MAXIM® ropes with Endura 2x-DRY treatment takes in less than 5 % of their weight in water. Therefore, they also fulfill the requirements to be marked as UIAA water-repellent according to UIAA standard 101.
What is a BI-Pattern rope?
Bi-Pattern ropes follow a special design that changes pattern at the rope’s midpoint. This change is a result of repositioning the bobbins (spools) during the braiding process to permanently mark the center of the rope in a way. The marking is immediately visible to the climber and since no fibers are cut, tied or spliced and no pigments or other chemicals are applied to mark the middle points, Bi-Patterns are the safest form of mid-point marking available for climbing ropes.
Bi-pattern ropes are not available to purchase by the foot.

I bought the wrong rope
This is a very strong, non-stretch rope that will not allow tight knotting, which of course is advantageous in the right situation. If you're looking for a pretty flow rope, though, this is not knot the one . (I couldn't resist!)

I wanted 15 feet of rope so I could practice knots and anchors with out needing to break out the full length rope, this worked perfectly and came at the expected length and quickly.

By foot option is wonderful! I picked up 12ft to practice basic knots. It works perfectly for teaching my children knots as well! Extremely pliable and supple cordage. 10/10 would purchase again!
