3-Strand Black Polyester Rope

The rope appears to be good except it has an unpleasant odor. I purchased it for a swing set for our grandchildren but have not yet installed it. I did not store the rope in our house due the odor. For the last couple of weeks, it has been stored (out of the weather) with the box open to air it out. So far it still has the unpleasant odor. Any suggestions? Could you send me the safety data sheet for the chemicals used to manufacture and coat the rope fibers? Thank you. Joseph E. Torgesen

I underestimated rope.com, VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER! Chat Feature Answered My Questions!

What I was after: Most of the ropes sold online are 1.25 to 1.5" thick, I was after a rope that was 1 inch to match the spartan rope climb obstacle. I underestimated rope.com, they got me the exact rope size and length I wanted, I couldn't stand the price of the loop end but its WONDERFUL and WELL DONE! I bought 2 ropes that would have costed me the same for 1 spartan rope!
