Water Distribution System uses Events Two cities in California are using Events to monitor wells, tanks, and flows in their water distribution systems.  Pumps are turned on automatically based on time of day and usage. Small Stream and Dam Monitoring using Events Events was installed by ATEK in 1999-2002 to monitor environmental conditions at small dam locations in Arizona, Wyoming and Montana.   Weather stations, rain and level sensors were monitored full time.  Most of these location are in mountain areas that required radio repeaters for data to be received.   Many of these sites have been converted to Satellite and other forms of communications. Navy selects Events Inactive ships in Bremerton, WA, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Philadelphia, PA selected Watch Enterprises for installation of Rugid RTUs and Events Software to monitor inactive ships in their harbors.  This contract started in 1995 and is still being updated and used today. “Events software is used to monitor rain rates and river levels in several city basins.  Events trends the data and shows the current conditions at these remote sites.” Cities & Counties have selected Events To Monitor Rain Fall and River Levels Many cities have started using Events software to monitor rain, levels, low water crossings, and flashing lights at 100 or more remote sites.  Events ease of setup and usage were main factors in selecting Events.  Events imports data from the USGS and displays it on selected forms.  Data Grids were set up to monitor daily rain rates for flashy conditions. Radio Telemetry System Irrigation Control & Monitoring by Events Watch Enterprises has installed custom gates to monitor and control irrigation flows in Washington and Oregon. Data summaries from these sites are sent to other agencies by Events FTP script. Waste Water Lift Stations Monitoring & Control by Events Events is being used by small communities to monitor and control waste water sites and domestic water distribution.  The user can view the operation of the pumps and wet well levels in real time. © Roper Associates LLC 2011+
