Data Logger Data Analysis Features
1 of 1
|
Transfer your data logger's data into evView for analysis. evView will calculate maximums, minimums, averages, counts and time of these measurements for display. You can trend historical or real time data while updating your averages and other calculations.
The communications interface is a delimited text data stream. If your logger outputs data in this format: 1. Datetime, data0, data1, ...dataN (comma delimited) 2. Datetime| data0| data1| ...dataN (pipe delimited) 3. Datetime data0 data1 ...dataN (space delimited) evView will be able to parse this data, analyze it and display it on your forms. The delimiter is selectable by the user.
evView can be used in real time or it can be used to analyze stored logger data files. After the file is saved to your hard drive. evView can reopen it for further analysis.
See evView Help. |
|
The Setup Form has 3 tabs: Settings, Results and Define. Settings and Define are used to name your inputs. Your logger should output data in the same format each time the data is transferred. evView will parse the data and put it into the Results table. Then the Define table is updated with new values.
Define table is used for equation with left to right processing (like your calculator). You can take the maximum value - minimum value to see the sensors change during the day. You can also convert degrees F to degrees C if needed. Defined sensors can be used in trends and any of the built in objects available. |

Files can be opened or reopened by the file form and parsed for analysis and display. Data downloaded into evView is transferred to the file form for processing. Saved files can be opened at any time for viewing. |
